How do I turn off protected browsing for Comcast Xfinity?

If you are an Xfinity user and having problems activating your Hub by Securly, then it might be a problem with Xfinity’s protected browsing feature.   

It is recommended that you turn off the protected browsing feature in your Xfinity xFi app.

To do this:

    1. Navigate to the ‘Network’ option located in the bottom menu for your xFi app.  
    2. Under ‘Security’ tap the ‘Protected Browsing’ option. xFi1.jpg
    3. Toggle the button to turn it off.xFi2.jpg
